Chief Executive Officer:  Brian Gill, MSW, MBA
Brian Gill joined Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital in 2007.
Brian received his Masters of Social Work from Walla Walla College and completed his MBA at the University of Arizona. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona with more than 18 years experience working in a variety of health care settings. His experience ranges from managing Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and emergency room social services to providing rural mental health consultation services. He has directed inpatient and outpatient programs for adolescents, adults and older adults. Brian served as an adjunct professor with the Gerontology Department at Phoenix College in Arizona from 2000-2004.

Chief Financial Officer:  Rachel Cox
Rachel has over 27 yrs experience in Healthcare Financial Management with a background in Oncology, Acute and and Long Term Care, Acute Rehabilitation, Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Care and Sub-Acute Skilled Nursing Facilities. Prior to coming to Sonora, Rachel was involved in the planning, opening and start up operations of 3 hospitals in California and served as the Chief Financial Officer at Kindred Hospital Modesto, the Director of Finance at Alta Bates Comprehensive Cancer Center in Berkeley and the Chief Financial Officer at both Continental Rehab Hospital of San Diego and Robert H. Ballard Rehab Hospital in San Bernardino. She was also an active member of the Society of Professionals in Healthcare (SPH) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Roxane Skolsky

Director of Nursing:  Roxane Skolsky MA, RN, BC
Roxane Skolsky brings 28 years of psychiatric nursing experience to Sonora. She was previously at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey where she was the chief clinician of their Psychiatric Emergency Service. She is board certified in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Roxane is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She is a graduate of Rutgers College and Seton Hall University. Roxane has received the Frances Black Humanitarian Award for her assistance in counseling victims post 9-11, as well as, the Pat Petrik Award for healing hearts and minds in her work providing group therapy for cardiac patients. She also has spent several years as a volunteer on the International Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team.

Maureen Copeland, RHIA

Maureen Copeland has been a healthcare professional for 30 years with a background in both behavioral and medical/surgical settings. Maureen received accreditation honors for the Improvement and Utilization management programs she created for five start up facilities. At Sonora, Maureen directly supervises the areas of Performance Improvement, Risk Management and Medical Records. She has also provided consultative services for Hospital Corporation of America.

Director of Business Development:  Adena Gauthier BS
Adena Gauthier received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She has 20 years of Business Development sales, marketing and management experience, with 10 years specific to the medical community, including Pharmaceuticals, Hospitals, Skills Nursing, Assisted living, and Home Health Care. She has worked closely with Arizona’s physicians to ensure quality care for several populations from adolescents through geriatrics.

Director of Social Services:  Liana Condello, MS
Liana Condello completed her Master’s in Gerontology with an emphasis in Psychology at the University of Colorado 1n 1994. Her work experience in the field includes: Owning a Private Practice in Geriatrics, managing an Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic, Clinical Director of an Outpatient Drug-Court program in Pima county, Coordinator of Utilization Review for a multi-faceted community addictions program, in addition to over 14 years of experience as a crisis evaluator in emergency rooms and hospitals. Liana obtained her License as an Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC) upon arriving in Tucson in 2003. She is currently credentialed to provide clinical supervision to therapists interested in obtaining their LISAC licensure.
