Veterans Affairs

Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital prides itself on being a leading provider of mental healthcare for military members who are suffering from symptoms of conditions such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and addictions. We offer this care through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network (CCN).

What Is the Community Care Network?

Created in 2018, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network (CCN) links the VA with mental healthcare providers in communities across the United States.

The VA’s goal is to help military personnel — active and retired — get the behavioral healthcare they need as quickly as possible. The CCN allows active-duty military members and veterans to easily locate and access treatment at any VA facility or from other authorized providers near them.

Serving Military Members

Many adults who serve in the military witness distressing things, such as natural disasters, injuries, and even death. These experiences can have a lasting negative impact on them.

At Sonora Behavioral Health, we strive to help service members and veterans work through their experiences, address concerns, and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. We provide compassionate, quality care for military members who are struggling with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addictions to drugs or alcohol.

Before beginning treatment with us, each patient completes a thorough assessment to determine the conditions that need to be addressed. This includes answering questions regarding their medical history, past treatment experience (if any), current symptoms, and treatment goals. Our team then creates a personalized treatment plan for the patient based on the results of their assessment.

TRICARE

Don’t let the financial aspect of treatment deter you from seeking professional help. At Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital, we work with TRICARE, a program that further assists active-duty military members, veterans, and their families.

If you are struggling with trauma, an addiction, depression, or another mental health concern, give us a call and speak with one of our intake specialists. We will help you determine if our facility is right for you and verify your benefits.
