Medical Records Manager
My name is Carol Brown. I am the manager of both Medical Records and the Front Desk Receptionist here at Sonora Behavioral Health. Some of my daily duties are; ensuring that clients discharged files have been completed by nursing, social services and providers, fulfilling records request, various audits, performing data entry for Quality Performer and CMS, along with verifying patient data is correctly entered with the state. Overseeing that our outpatient client records are properly processed. I have been with Sonora Behavioral Health for almost 7 years, I enjoy working here at Sonora, as it has become a second family. I am glad to see the services we provide our clients can make a change in their lives.. Prior to Sonora, I worked for 20 years in Home Health with duties including; everything from Office Manager, HR, Scheduling nurses/aides for client visits, typing clients Plan of Care and send to PCP, keeping clients medical records organized. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and hiking.
